mertik Maxitrol Improves the GV60 specification

Mertik Maxitrol’s GV60 – for years the UK’s most popular remote ignition & control system – now offers more powerful features than ever before. A few highlights are variable ambient light control, circulating fan control, and designated low-fire and high-fire.
The GV60 system incorporates a number of new functions for automatic turn down and shut off.

6 Hours No Communication
Manual Mode/Temperature/Timer Mode: the valve will turn to pilot flame if the batteries in the handset are low or if the handset is out of communication range for a 6 hour period.

Module Overheating
Valve turns to pilot flame if the temperature in the receiver is higher than 60°C. The main burner will come back on only when the temperature drops below 60°C.

Low Battery Receiver
With low battery power in the receiver, the system shuts off the fire completely. This will not occur if the power supply is interrupted.

Second Thermocouple Shut Off
The system shuts off the fire completely if there is no main burner flame approximately 20 seconds after ignition or after pushing the large flame (UP) button. (Note: There is a 2 minute waiting period before the next ignition.)
