Mertik Maxitrol is a member of an international group of companies that designs and manufactures gas safety controls, gas pressure regulators, gas combination controls and electronic modulation systems for use in gas heating and process applications. Mertik Maxitrol sells in more than 50 countries worldwide. Due to our growing business, we have an excellent career opportunity in our Sales Department.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing customer accounts and acquire new business.
  • Manage and maintain regular customer contact with accounts in your sales territory and export markets.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions, product development, and competitor business activities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and nurture new relationships with prospective Corporate Target Markets and accounts.

Qualifications

  • Technical or Business college degree, or equivalent experience with a vocational degree.
  • 2-5 years commercial sales experience of technical products.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, gas appliance industry and/or gas distribution a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Verbal and written English skills, additional language skills (e.g. Spanish or French) a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Must have computer skills in MS Office, preferable SAP/R3 experience.
